UNIT 10 POST

1) As I am comparing my self-evaluation from unit 3 to now, there is really a huge discrepancy among the ywo scores.  From unit 3, my psychological well-being score was 5, physical 7, and spiritual 6, from a scale of 1 to 10.  Now, After the knowledge I have acquired from this course on how to attain integral health, I have discovered the hidden capacities within me.  They were always there, but it is up to us to seek for them, because, although we are made of three components, physical, psychological, and spiritual, commonly called; body, mind, and soul, we are still a whole with three interconnected and interdependent components.  I want to share a personal experience.  Before this course, I use to talk a lot about my issues to friends, seeking unconsciously for a solution through them, but now, I have the power to endure, expand my mind, and move on with life, and this new discovery in me really makes me feel in control of  both my personal and professional life.  Now for my psychological, physical, and spiritual well being, I can score ( 8, 9, 8) respectively from a scale of 1 to 10.

2)For my physical well-being, I have set a goal to have a scheduled regular exrecises by mean of both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations.  Before, I use to do exercises once in a while but only thinking about shape, but along this course, I have discovered the direct link between physical exercises and mental well-being.  Psychologically and spiritually, I have chosen the "Meditation" exercise to go with, so that I can find moments where I can be my own guest, my own judge with my own self, so that I can be myself, and being able to explore myself  and the unlimited resources in within.  I have made progress, because I follow my schedule for exercises, and like I said earlier, I know how to seek for my peaceful mind and solve my problems out.

3)I have chosen specific days and hours for my physical exercises including walk, and specific time alone to do my "Meditations" in order to reach to my highest potentials whether physical, psychological, and spiritual.  This is a feeling that only the one experiencing it can fully understand, this is a feeling of confidence, control both with yourself and your surroundings.

4) My personal experience throughout this course has been marked by an ongoing progress whether physically, psychologically, and spiritually.  My view of the world has totally changed, I now see myself and the world from a very different prospective than before. 
I now understand how to attain integral health, because the means are nowhere but within us, and I intend to use my knowledge to help others to find the right path and reach out to integral health that we all have the power to posses if only we know how to seek for it.  That will be my greatest satisfaction to use it to the benefit of others.  The one thing that has been really difficult for me along the way was the exercise where I needed to suppress the disturbing mind in order to find the witness mind, the calm-abiding mind in order to move on to the other level, but I did get it at the end.

UNIT 8 POST

I have chosen the "Loving Kindness" and the "Meditation".  The Loving Kindness because it prepares us to receive the world, it teaches us to see the world from a different prospective.  we stop being selfish to embrace altruism because this is what makes us one with our environment. 

I choose the "Meditation" because it helps us to find our true self, it allows us to review our life through our past experiences, find what we have accomplished, find our mistakes, understand why they occured and find how to correct them so that they do not repeat themselves.  Those two mental exercises have a direct postive impact on both our mental health, which is what we need to attain integral health.

unit 7 post

After experiencing the Aeclepius meeting, I came to realize how really our mind can look like a noisy river as well a quiet river that seems to be in perfect harmony with the ocean, and this is a work that can be achieved only by us.  We are the master, we can choose to leave the mind in its natural disturbing state, but we can also choose to train the mind and discover the hidden harvest of wisdom within us.  This mindfullness meditation can increase our psychological wellness, therefore increases our physical wellness as well, because we are a whole made of body, mind, and soul.  By keeping to search that hidden harvest in ourself, we can also improve our quality of being or existence.

ONE CANNOT LEAD ANOTHER WHERE ONE HAS NOT GONE HIMSELF.

This is a way to tell that one cannot fully understand the situation of another if he or she cannot put or visualize himself or herself as being at the same place.  But if you do, you are most likely to know the right path, and lead the other at right destination.This is valid in healthcare in Doctor/nurse/patient/relationship.

UNIT 6 POST

AFTER PRACTICING THE LOVING KINDNESS EXERCISE,I REALIZED THAT WE CAN DO WHATEVER OR BE WHATEVER WE WANT IF WE REALLY WANT IT, BECAUSE THE BRAIN HAS UNLIMITED OBEDIENCE TOWARD OUR COMMANDS, ALL IT NEEDS IS TRAINING.  WE HAVE THE POWER WITHIN OURSELVES TO BECOME ONE WITH OUR SURROUNDING, BECAUSE WE ARE A WHOLE MADE OF DIFFERENT PUZZLES WHICH IS US. FUNCTIONING ON OUR OWN ONLY MEANS DESTROYING THE PUZZLE INCLUDING OURSELVES, BECAUSE WE CAN CHOOSE TO IGNORE, RUN AWAY FROM REALITY, BUT THE REALITY IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

UNIT 5 POST

1)
Comparing the "Loving kindness" exrecise and the "Subtle Mind", I found that they both give a sense of openess to my mind, feeling a sense of purposeness, a reason to be.  A sense of unlimited power in within, giving rise to a sense of power over our surrounding.

2)
Contrasting them, they are both of different feelings, although they their own similarities.  The "Loving Kindness" makes you feel advancing toward a new dimension of life, while the "Subttle Mind" gives you that dimension of maturity feeling ready to explore, and choose the best portion that suits you.

After listening to the "introduction mp3", and the "Loving Kindness exercises", I personally felt a recharge in my body, as well as in my spirit.  I realize that we are only one with our environment, we just have to use the hidden resources within us to reach out for it.  I felt a power within me that could enable me to lift myself and suspend in the air if I wanted to.  I also realize that there are certain behavior that are only being learned, and they are unhealthy, we have the power to let them go without ant regret.  It is all about our perception of things that will direct our actions.

The concept of "MENTAL WORKOUT" is to teach us to dig into our harvest full of resources and reach our highest potential in life, because everything is there, within us, waiting to be explored, discovered, and used to our own needs.
